Historique :	Objet pouvant provenir de l'ancienne chapelle de Laval de Tignes ou de la première église Saint-Bernard-de-Menthon construite vers 1533. La statue en pierre est attestée dans l'église depuis la visite pastorale de 1633.

Matériaux :	pierre : taillé, peint (polychrome)
Observations :	Fiche CAOA et photographie manquante à la MPP. Se renseigner auprès de la Conservation des antiquités et des objets d'art.
Précision sur_l'état :	Vestiges de polychromie. Le bras gauche est amputé jusqu'au coude. Il manque également le diable enchaînée dont il ne reste plus qu'un morceau de chaîne tenu dans sa main droite et une partie du corps foulé aux pieds du saint.
