Historique :	Oeuvre réalisée par un atelier régional. L'inscription évoque le patronage de la famille Chevallier dans le contexte de la construction de la nouvelle église en 1817 - 1825 - 1829.

Précision sur l'inscription :	Inscription (au dos dans un cartouche) : CHEVALIS – PATRONOS – STATUAM - HANC ERET (Chevallier, patron, a fait ériger cette statue).
Précision_sur la representation :	L'archange est représenté à pied sous les traits du chevalier ailé armé de l'épée flamboyante et foulant un démon enchaîné. Une perforation sur le sommet de la tête indique la présence d'une auréole disparue.
