Historique :	Sculpteur né en 1853. Second grand prix de Rome en 1878. Reçu au Salon en 1879, médaillé de troisième classe en 1884, de seconde classe en 1888. Un des fondateurs en 1890 de la société nationale des Beaux-Arts. L'exposition universelle de 1889 lui valut une médaille d'argent et celle de 1900 une médaille d'or. Bénézit cite pour ses oeuvres les plus remarquables : Garde Mobile (Père Lachaise, Paris), Le Gué (Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, Paris), Bonheur (Aix-les-Bains), des fronts décoratifs pour les mairies d'Ivry et d'Issy-les-Moulineaux...
