Description :	Cette machine opère dans le cadre du cycle préparatoire au tissage. Ourdissoir pour la préparation des chaînes consistant à réunir et aligner tous les fils de la chaîne issus du bobinoir dans l'ordre voulu (rayures longitudinales par ex.) et à la longueur voulue, sur un rouleau disposé derrière. L'ourdissoir se compose de 11 roues entièrement métalliques, fixées sur un arbre et équipées sur leur circonférence de 15 barres en bois horizontales. Entraîné par une courroie plate en cuir, le nombre des tours est réglé par un système de comptage mécanique.
