Dénomination :	retable;tableau;statue
Description :	Retable à pans coupés, à 2 pilastres et 2 colonnes cannelées à chapiteaux composites. La travée centrale de l'entablement est cintrée : deux anges présentent un cartouche rocaille surmonté d'une tiare et contenant une statuette de Vierge à l'enfant. Les entablements des travées latérales, en retour, sont droites et ornées de statues d'anges tenant de grosses guirlandes de fleurs. Au centre du retable, une toile représentant la délivrance de saint Pierre : un ange montre le ciel à saint Pierre dans sa prison. De part et d'autre du tableau, statuettes de saint Maurice à droite, et d'un autre saint à gauche.

Historique :	L'église des Brévières a été construite à partir de 1735 grâce à Pierre-Henri Martin et consacrée en 1751 par Mgr Rolland. Elle n'a pas été submergée par le barrage de Tignes et son mobilier est resté en place. Le retable a été volée en octobre 1977.
