Historique :	Ce bénitier est supposé provenir de la chapelle du château archiépiscopal Saint-Jacques. L'opinion de l'abbé Ducis, ancien archiviste de la Haute-Savoie, est que ce remarquable monolythe ne représente pas autre chose que saint Bernard domptant le dragon infernal et accosté des deux figures du vice et de la vertu (source : notice de M. Précision_sur la representation :	Un personnage vêtu d'un vêtement ample serré à la taille par la ceinture est à cheval sur un monstre à gueule ouverte à corps de lion. Il soutient de ses mains une cuvette circulaire dont les côtés sont ornés de deux têtes en relief.
